Yeah, comments and DMs online can get weird. I've gotten hit on in DMs a few times here on Substack, which I was not anticipating. All I want to talk about is reading books, ya know?! I'm not here to find a date. But yeah, I agree, post-COVID, people got stuck in that mean girl mentality. High school never ends from 18 to 80. Truly. I noticed people in person aren't super kind to each other either. That makes me sad. I guess there's only one thing I can control: Me and how I respond. Thanks for another thoughtful post!

Y'know it sounds corny or recycled, but "be the change you want to see in the world" really is the only way to play it.
